Interesting Find, Hass rocks!

I've seen some music sharing on here, i figured Id give it a go.

Steve Hass plays his butt off with this guy. It's piano led rock. Hass goes from hints of Keith Moon to Bonham. Great groove rock drumming. How can he change personalities like this?

Yes, great grooves. I must get this. Reminds me of Ben Folds Five(?), nice catchy pop tunes with Beatles influence.

Hass drums appropriately and perfectly for each track, achieving the right sound. CD Baby allows you to hear a nice chunk of the song.

HA!!! Yes it is. I'm not normally a fan of that type of happy rock and roll, but man....the drumming is awesome. Then I'm thinking "this is the same guy playing swing hard bop behind Wynton Marsalis on Song Of The Promised Land???" Unreal.

Yeah im definetely not a fan of this music either but Hass is obviously pretty fluent in a lot of styles, solid stuff.

I can't wait to catch him here in Hong Kong with Sco. I got tickets to both nights!

Do you guys know if Hass normally answers emails from fans cos i emailed him ages ago and he didnt reply. I know hes probably busy but im wondering if he doesn't normally answer or it was just me.

His musical choices never cease to amaze me. Perfect drum tracks, lacking nothing. S.P Hass didn't returned my emails from last month until yesterday . He said he's gearing up for a modern drummer photo shoot and interview in addition to being in the studio with various artists and according to his site, just came back off the road with John Scofield. Modern Drummer is getting in touch with the streets. Go figure.
